Not to toot my horn but I've known about this for at least 3 weeks now because I watch and only listen to sources that are reliable, they are trustworthy and they have been right about everything
Quit bragging. I read tigerdroppings, too!

This guy is not taking a minute to think about this. Flows through the Strait don’t hit the storage tanks in Europe, the Americas and Asia right away. It takes weeks to travel by ship, get piloted through local waters then offload. The drawdown reduction will lag the opening of the Strait by about two months, I guess.
The diesel supply is another matter that deals with a downstream product that has been beset by problems other than oil supply.

Yes we can. It would be uncomfortable, but it would not be catastrophic if Iran pulled off some new strategy that shut down the Strait for a couple of weeks. I half expect it. Weather it; keep the pressure on them; and win!

So how do we get diesel down?
Russia has to fix its refineries that Ukraine blew up. That supplied a good chunk of Europes diesel

My working theory is that if outlets like the WSJ and NYT post editorials which give credit to GOP/Trump/MAGA/conservative leadership, then the benefits are probably greater than what they are admitting. For this, it would mean "The Battle of Hormuz" has already turned.

Keep up the blockade and keep getting other countries to cut off trade.
Bomb the rail routes to China once the midterms are over.
They will wither on the vine.

We always controlled the strait
Sending a few drones to minimally damage a few ships never gave them control
Was just a matter of convincing the shippers that there wasnt much of a threat
Plus we probably got better at finding the drone and missile launch sites
