So you wouldn't vote for the best person for job no matter what political party he/ she belongs to? What if a Democratic candidate was better overall than a Republican candidate.

By definition, choosing to be a democrat tells me all I need to know.

It indicates that you choose economic and tax policies that stifle productivity, punish success, and promote dependence on the government.

You either embrace illegal aliens or you caucus with people who embrace them.

You either loathe white people or you caucus with people who loathe white people.

Buttigieg isn’t a “centrist” at all, and his policy ideas would be dreadful for America, but it has nothing to do with him being gay. I’d absolutely vote for a homosexual who ran on a platform I agreed with.

Agree 100%. I genuinely feel sorry for the handful of people that feel like they need to make high school level gay jokes to feel better about themselves, because they never really left high school. I hope they find happiness in life.

OF THE DEMOCRATIC candidates, he about as center as you can get excluding Biden. Not sure how people in this thread cannot comprehend that.

I can comprehend that, and I see your point. But it is still a disingenuous argument.

And I hate using NAZIs to make my point, but just because Hitler killed less people than Stalin, that doesn't make Adolf a humanitarian.

I would say this to your face. Straight up.

That is your perogative.

This thread is exactly why democratic candidates spend only a small fraction of their time in the southern states. Too many in redneck buck tooth Charlies afraid them Mexicans going to steal their jobs and remove their guns. Would rather elect someone under the guise of spreading corporate earnings back to the masses...and it never comes.

He'd probably be the Democrat I'm most likely to vote for. He's actually held a position where he's been in charge of people. People that care that he's gay are annoying as hell.

Dems have literally said that they want to take our guns. That is their platform for president. Mexicans are stealing American jobs, its just a fact.

Corporate earnings are being spread to the masses you dolt. Have you seen the stock market??? We have 401ks and retirement portfolios that contain securities....those securities have risen in value due to corporate earnings, hence our initial investment has grown and we are reaping the benefits as well. Sorry you are poor and dont have a retirement account

Its sad you mock this.

Even left-leaning economists will assert, with NO ambiguity, that illegal immigration depresses wages, and hurts the working poor more than any other class.

That's mostly blacks, poor hispanics and poor whites.

But you think all them dumb southerners are just scared for no reason.

And?

We elected a black man and almost elected a woman as President, and globally just as many people have a problem with that as a President being gay.

I really don’t give a frick what religious zealots in the Middle East or third world dirt farmers in Africa think about who we elect as President.

Do you have any idea what a person has to stand for to even have a chance of winning the Democrat Party nomination?

No, I wouldn't vote for the most qualified person if they're a tax-and-spend Socialist.

Dont care about race or gender.

How can a foreign leader respect a man that literally sucks the cock of another man and allows that other man to violate his a-hole? Note voting for the Butt edge edge.

in case you have just stated following stocks, they have always increased (over the long run). One/two presifent terms means little in the long run when it comes to investing. Don’t believe me - see the stock market from the 1927-today. Guess what, the trajectory is up.

And you might be surprised at how much I have in my retirement accounts (yes, plural).

I have never voted Democrat and after watching them drift further left over the years coupled with how unhinged today's Democrat party is, I am comfortable and confident in saying that I will never ever vote for a Democrat.

He will peel off a LOT of the suburban vote that traditionally goes to the GOP candidate. This group loathes Trump and Pete is the perfect candidate for many of them. Of course, he will fail with the blacks and white rednecks, although many of the latter tends to vote GOP anyway. It would be interesting to see how the different groups would align.

It's obvious to anyone that he is by far the most articulate and intelligent of all the candidates in both parties.
