Would Oz have won without MAGA king’s endorsement?

McCormick is another Toomey, another McConnell tool. Trump took a risk with Oz, because he didn't want another GOPe hack.

I agree, so the Rinos want to paint Oz as a left leaning dude, he well may be, but he won’t be beholden to McConnell. It’s pathetic when the moderates try to appeal to conservatives about how some outsider isn’t quite pure enough

I strongly agree with this point.

He showed a willingness to go against the grain on Covid. Plus while a traditional doctor, and a heart surgeon he definitely is willing to question orthodoxy and can go a little alternative with medicine. Shows to me a tendency to march to his own drummer. Plus I like that his success and notoriety have to do with actual real world skill.

Politically he would be beholden to Trump, and more importantly Trump’s base than the Republican Establishment.

He would have no reason to turn on Trump, or his base if he wins.

You Baws like to bitch about suburban women. But he’s the kind of candidate that they love. He’s likable, and has broad appeal. He’s electable, and way more interesting than the other candidates in the PA race.

Oz holds zero conservative beliefs. He just says things that his staff believes Trump would say at a rally. He is a joke, and he will lose to Fetterman.

So brave! He took the position of his intended voter base on an issue that has no bearing on the office he is seeking!

You are way too intelligent to be fooled by that level of pandering.

Bookmarked for when he loses by 3% in November because he’s a hollow shell TV personality with zero actual convictions and zero conservative positions.

That milquetoast Bush Administration middle manager does not have a better chance of winning than a celebrity doctor who had the balls to question Lord Fauci during the worst of the Covid idiocy as it affected public health, and policy decisions made concerning public health.

I mean- when McBoring whatever his name is loses by 10 pts to a mobster who dresses like a homeless person and we have a socialist in the senate instead of a nerdy doctor with the balls to question conventional thinking - I guess I’ll feel better knowing that at least the Rs didn’t put up a hollow TV personality just so he could lose by 3 points

Plus - I’m in Oz’s voting demographic. This is like me giving you Baws love advice. I understand these women. I know these women. White women my age and socioeconomic class would vote for this dude in droves, regardless of party.

Right. To put a finer point on it, because Trump wants to take out Turtle. I think that is his main goal right now with Senate endorsements.

Probably not. He did the right thing by opposing the vaccine mandates. I appreciated that.

Remembers the last time Trump jumped in to support a Rino? Well, I do. And, that traitor was Romney. See how well that went for Trump. Oz better not be another Romney.

In this case, it was better the devil you don't know.

I don't like Oz. I think it was a bizarre endorsement. His stances on "transgenderism/sexual reassignment" and abortion are far from "MAGA" doctrine... but maybe Trump sees something I don't.
