Nice. Well done compiling all this. Obviously a subject that is near and dear to some of our hearts. I remember reading some of this shite and thinking every argument to not have women in combat units is right here on the political talk board. Every argument ignored. We will see how he military moves forward with this topic.
Don't worry. I made sure the better ones made it into the Rand Survey. They ignored it, but I know for a fact they read them. frick em. I hope they choked on their doughnuts in disgust.

Thanks. I thought I was about to have to construct the resource argument again.
And yes. It is STILL irrefutable.
I'll take it one further.
You give me 100 18 year old men who are 30 pounds overweight and 100 18 year old women who played sports all through high school.
At the end of 13 weeks of Infantry OSUT training, I will guarantee to that AT LEAST 45 of the top 50 performers are from my 100 men. I wouldn't be stunned if all 50 were.
I went to OSUT with a guy so fat we called him Grimace cause he showed up on purple.
At the end of 13 weeks. He was doing 80+ push ups and running sub 14 for two miles and kicked arse on the 18 mile road march. He's have killed 99.9% of all the females I worked with in 23 years.
The gap between typical men and women is enormous.

Hopefully this thread gets some visibility. A sticky would be outstanding.

This is and will always be the only completely irrefutable argument for discrimination of any kind in government employment. Know this: Your argument made it into the RAND survey issued to SOF members in 2014.

I hadn't had that post up for 30 seconds. Boom! SJW JDAM incoming.

We used to discuss this a lot while deployed and this was before we were seeing women who are brick shite houses like that rousey ufc fighter so we didn't even consider them being able to compete physically we were more interested in thinking about how they'd handle things when shite hit the fan and if they'd be able to keep it together long enough to not get themselves or anyone else killed or if they'd have the balls to make that mad dash across the street under fire

It was my downvote.
I downvote you on principal because I know you feed on them.

For nothing more than entertainment value and just a bit of context.

Technically, yes, but something like 13 months from enlistment until I signed my ROTC contract - "real" mustangs might take umbrage with the label being applied to me. Hell, I was 23 when I got commissioned.

"If they can meet the standards I don't see why they should be denied the right to serve."
Me: You're a fricking virgin. Go play with crayons while the adults talk.

AHHHH. Why did I think you were? I will correct it. Regardless, my compliment stands and I am sure you would have made a great addition to the unit

I never knew that.

So a "real" mustang and now a "real" Colonel (my middle child, the only non-military would point that out) - how is it looking for those stars, baw?
You'll probably have to stop posting if that happens - pinning those on is like serving in fricking congress. Everything is on the record.
