‘Our industry has been strip-mined’: video game workers protest at The Game Awards

Are you kidding me? What’s next, an organized protest of food being over cooked at some restaurants?

Apparently "LeArN to CoDe" didn't work out like as promised.

It sounds like the industry has been willing to "reckon" with AI. They're using it and laying off workers. They're just unwilling to reckon with it in a way that would make the author happy.

Ive been gaming for 25 years. Almost every time i come across someone who games during normal work hours, they're a coder of some sort.

Maybe if these assholes actually worked instead of taking 7 years to put out a product, the industry wouldn't be looking to optimize or increase profit as much.
