I have not watched one minute of it but would be ROFLMAO if the NYC transit workers pulled this stunt. What a sight to see and commentary to hear if they do. Will the Workers UNITE and STRIKE?

Democrats will not know what to do!!

quote:

With the World Cup final approaching, is now the time for New York transit workers to prepare a strike?

The official narrative notwithstanding, the World Cup organization in New York-New Jersey reflects the stark class divide that pervades every aspect of society. An offensive by transit workers, bringing New York City to a halt at the very moment it is front and center before a global audience, would bring this real character of society to the forefront. And it would garner immense support from workers in New York and around the globe who similarly confront a crisis of affordability, increased exploitation and a political system that serves the wealthy.

With they do it?

I don't know how I feel about this. While I fully support sticking it to the communist, I'm also not a fan of embarrassing the US on the world stage.

F this commie as well as NYC. The folks from other countries already have a view and opinion of mainstream America - why not show them the other side?

Again, while I agree, right now it's bigger than just NYC. They're representing the US in the biggest sporting event in the world. Lets root for the World Cup final to be completely FUBAR so the US never hosts again? That's frickin stupid. Par for the course around here I suppose.

I think that most foreign folks have the intelligence to delineate between mainstream America and the scum now in place in NYC, comrade.

I don't think "foreign folks" are responsible for running the World Cup and the people who are are interested in making money and having the event go off without a hitch. Again, hoping that the final match is all fricked up is stupid beyond belief, regardless your opinion of NYC and their communist mayor.

Foreign folks as visitors to the US who have by and large voiced their amazement about the US at large, probably to your chagrin. Why not whatever happens, let these visitors experience NYC as it is?

So it is okay to control rent and open government grocery stores but it is not okay to have your workers strike when they have the most leverage.

I thought the democrats represented the working man.

Why should anyone be concerned about how others view Mamdani or NY? This is on them, it's what they voted for.
YouTube is flooded with Europeans gushing praise for America and it's citizens across the country. NY's transit shutting down will not reflect poorly on America, only the commie running the city.

Any chance you have to reflect poorly on the communist and their partner, the democrats, you must. It will be interesting to see how the MSM (Lying press) covers for the strikers and supporters.

Aren't they for the working man too?

I guess it's a matter of perspective. And world view.
Considering how much of the "free" world is angry with their governments abroad over Muslim Takeovers in their countries, I think many abroad would cheer it on.

Now, as for my Perspective, NY as a state is communist held territory that is long overdue to be taken back by the US.
