If this is true, and you don't get the job, call the EEOC, I'm sure they would be very interested in that question.

Really not an EEOC issue. They don't care about partisanship.

If it is a classified civil service position then it is a constitutional issue. Contact the media, your rep, the Attorney General and the civil service commission. I really doubt it is this from what you said.

If it is an unclassified position, then contact your rep and the media. But wait until you see if you get the job or not. If you get the job, I would not blame you for not making waves, at least until enough time has passed for them not to know it is you.
