Administrations with the largest tax cuts in history:
-Coolidge
-Kennedy
-Reagan
-Bush II
During each of these administrations the government took in more tax revenue than any other administration before them.
As for "the rich," higher-income taxpayers paid more — repeat, MORE tax revenues into the federal treasury under the lower tax rates than they had under the previous higher tax rates. All this happened under these administrations.
Major deficits are caused by unchecked spending from entitlement programs, wars, etc.

Yep. The government just went on an income diet. Time for that fat broad to start losing some weight.

You dumbass. They were to end the recession you dipshit so we didn’t enter another Great Depression bc of George Bush’s spending on war plus his tax cuts. Now that the economy is stable and the unemployment is at an all time low , y’all want to shot our selves in the foot again and increase the deficit again by creating creating permanent tax cut for corporations

Maybe because that are trying to rush it through without hearing from economists or any other experts..
No thanks.

Then maybe the government should have some kind of budget so they don’t over spend? Or maybe redundant, outdated or otherwise inefficient government agencies should be cut in order to make up for less tax money coming in.
I have to live on a budget, why dowsnt the fed government

No shite! You don’t have to explain to me that BUSH turned a 5 trillion dollar surplus from Clinton to deficit of 6 trillion and left it to Obama’s. You don’t have to explain that to me . I fricking know it was bushes unchecked spending and TAX CUTS that put us where we are

Well if the government didn’t spend more than it has, there won’t be a deficit.

Perhaps you should expand your vocabulary and understanding beyond "bumbass, dipshit, and Muh Bush".
Let's go back to Clinton era taxes And spending. Deal?
That's what I thought. So pipe down, dummy.

Yeah, that hardline right wing publication New York Times was just shilling for Bush after his tax cuts.
It's funny how liberals drag out Bush when they never ever propose any serious spending cuts. They're all fiscal hawks until they get into power and spend more than a drunken sailor on liberty in some foreign country. The only difference is the drunken sailor is smart enough stop spending money when they run out.
When your ilk gets serious about spending...and I mean serious, not repeat tired, worn out, banal talking points, then you have room to talk.

The Left hates anything that gives the individual more control and takes power away from Central Government. The mentally ill left doesn't know why or what they don't like about 95% of the time they just protest and rally about anything that comes from a non-Leftist.
If it's good for America it is bad for the left.

Maybe bc they are tacking on random bills that have nothing to do with taxes like
Drilling in ANWR ( arctic national wildlife refuge)
Repeal of Obama’s care individual mandate
Separating of church and state to allow church to contribute to campaign funds
Defining what a fetus is to effect pro-choice rights .
More than being a glued to together tax cut for those that make over a million dollars a year, that will add 1.5 billion to the nation deficit, it’s just a catch all bill for all the little bull shite they couldn’t get done today.
Nonsense, if any of those were the reason they objected to this bill they would have been in there trying to negotiate and deal with the GOP, clearly Trump is willing to work with them.
But instead, they don't want ANYTHING to be passed by this Administration. The details don't even matter. I guaranfrickingtee that in January the GOP could start working on a bill to legalize "dreamers" and the Dems will sit to side and scream that Republicans hate illegal aliens.
At this point only a moron supports the DNC at any level.

Asshat. It’s literally bush’s Adminstration that turned a 6 trillion dollar surplus into a 6 trillion dollar . I understand it was for a war but conservation really need to own up to the fact that it was y’all ‘ unchecked spending’ that got us into the economic situation that got us where we are and tax cuts only put off the fact that hard working Americans will have to make up the budget deficit in the coming years.

It's pretty simple. The tax plan has short term benefits and unknown long term costs. This plays in the Reublicans' favor for 2018. The democrats know this so they're going to oppose it no matter what.

I assume you mean the 'short term' means the 10 year sunset on the personal tax rates. That is because of some arcane rule set up long ago - I don't know the history of it, but I do know that if they could, the GOP would eliminate that provision and the DEMs would fight it tooth and nail to keep it in.
DEMs want something in there to complain about - something that they DEMAND be in there.
