Everyone should have to pull themselves up by the bootstrap in some respect but they shouldn’t have to pull themselves past hundreds of thousands of h1bs and absolutely absurd starter home prices (which are now ethnic enclaves)

By all means No. Sit back and wait until someone else gives it to you. Like I said in the OP: loser mentality.

Reply to greatlakestigers post right above yours.

He gets it as do most others on this thread.

If you aren't facing these challenges than consider yourself blessed. What youre doing is considering yourself superior.

Yeah, I know. You are a victim of circumstance. You may as well be a rock waiting on forces outside of yourself to move you. Pure victim mentality in it's pristine form.

This entire time I believed Trump when he told me Americans were being crushed by historic inflation, out of control housing prices, and unmitigated immigration. Thanks for setting me straight. It was my fault all along

It doesn't surprise me at all that you have no idea wtf you are even talking about.

Everyone on the face of the earth is facing these challenges in one way, shape, or form. America is one of the few countries where the individual is in a position to overcome them.

Does not mean they don't share common ideology which they absolutely do. Fuentes is only more vocal and less patient.

Grandpa, if you want to turn this into a competition of comparable levels of success, I’m certain I will crush you like decades of your generations governance did to millions others in my generation and those after.

This idea that I or anyone else not facing unique challenges and if only they would try harder all of the good things in life would happen for them is asinine. It’s a completely ridiculous statement contradicted by President Trump himself.

Do you have any idea what (white) women in America are like today compared to when you were dating?

Its not just the job market and macro economics and the price of housing. Its MANY other things as well.

Oh. Well done. The universal excuse for victimhood. Are you Black, Hispanic, American Indian, Groyper or just a teenager? All use the same excuse: essentially blame my parents. Tell me exactly how any excuse you use hindered you from success today? Even more importantly tell me how your making excuses exactly changes anything. Nothing is gonna change until people stop making excuses, blaming others and actually do something to overcome.

BFD!!! To everyone that has excuses: Newsflash: Even if your excuses are valid, it doesn't change a dang thing. Identifying the excuse doesn't fix it. At some point one has to make the necessary changes to address and overcome the problem. If you don't want to do that then accept your station in life, but don't blame it on anything except your unwillingness to overcome.

You seem to be misunderstanding and so consumed with your narrative you ignore what I’m saying.

I’m 37 and left an executive level corporate finance position to open a cigar shop. I’m now up to 5 locations and looking to expand into marijuana dispensary to accommodate the same type of clientele that purchase the cigars I sell.

I only share this with you to make clear that I couldn’t be any further from the lazy, entitled, and excuse making youth you’ve convinced yourself are solely responsible for their inability to participate in the America you did.

So answer me this, boomer:

Is Trump lying or are you? Did decades worth of DEI designed to destroy the American working class and specifically their college educated children not happen? Is inflation a myth? Did your generation not champion the exportation of the American working class as a precursor to the importation of foreign white collar labor? Did this result in artificial wage suppression?

I don’t even smoke

It’s nothing more than a financial opportunity for me. Who am I to deny the good people of America their marijuana if they so choose?
