re: Why not release the Epstein files?

If that video evidence proves absolutely that children were used for sex with a specific person, then absolutely that info should be released. I do not care how many times Bill Clinton for example went to Epstein Island. I only care if there is absolute undeniable proof of a person having sex with a child.

Bill Clinton and his other Democratic cronies will take that bet

So you know for fact “ thousands of hours of video evidence “ is people having sex with children? Or maybe it’s just chid porn downloaded off the internet. Either way those “ epstien files “ will never see the light of day. Kinda fricked up you want that released.

What is the administration hiding? Redact the victims names and quit protecting pedophiles.
I agree 100%. I'm a supporter of this administration but this is an exceedingly bad look.
Something is up.

Can you define what you mean by the “Epstein files”?
I would assume the criminal records from two FBI investigations that culminated in both the FL and NY indictments.
There's a goldmine of shite in that.
quote:
Epstein allegedly "lent" girls to powerful people to ingratiate himself with them and also to gain possible blackmail information.[122] According to the Department of Justice, he kept compact discs locked in his safe in his New York mansion with handwritten labels that included the description: "young [name] + [name]".[123] Epstein implied that he had blackmail material when he told a New York Times reporter in 2018, off the record, that he had dirt on powerful people, including information about their sexual proclivities and recreational drug use.[115]

Because there are some allies of the current administration who participated in the child sex ring, just like there some allies of the previous administration who participated in the child sex ring.
Protection of those dirt bags is obviously more important than taking a stand against prostitution of minors, so alas all us peasants just have to accept it and move on. Daddy Biden knew what was best, and now Daddy Trump knows what is best for us all regarding these crimes.

So you are saying the DOJ is powerless in this situation?
Defying a judge's orders to deport someone? Easy.
Defying a judge's orders to expose participants in underage prostitution? Impossible.

What was in those big arse binders the administration had a bunch of social media "influencers" hold up for pictures?

All of that was released

There are very powerful people on both sides of the aisle on the list. If it was all Republicans, the Democrats would have released it. If it was all Democrats, the Republicans would release it. Only explainable answer.
Powerful look out for each other.

The judge controls only the documents submitted for the court case. Grand jury testimony, etc.
No judge decides what executive agencies can release unrelated to court documents.
Basically:
A. FBI does investigation, assembles huge dossier of information. <- President can get any of this released.
B. DAs work with investigators from FBI, pull in most damning evidence, submit as indictment. <- this is public, generally
C. To acquire a criminal case, they whittle down A & B to present case to a grand jury. <- a judge can prohibit distribution of this
There's not as much interesting stuff in C anyway, it's used mostly to indict an individual, so others involved in crimes might not even appear in these docs. The grand jury testimony is about Epstein / Maxwell, far less so people in their circle.
The really interesting stuff is in A, which the DOJ / executive can release at their whim.

Prince Andrew is a Trump donor?

That's testimony. Swamp Barbie said there are tens of thousands of videos. Well, what do they show? You have the two supposed most aggressive deep state wreckers in the world at 1 and 2 at the Bureau and control of the DOJ. Something is amiss.
Maybe there WERE tens of thousands of videos... Something tells me the Deep State, nearing the end of their last dementia puppet's term when they knew Trump was elected, got rid of all that. That's why I think the debacle occurred where they made Bondi and the Trump admin think they were turning all that stuff over to them in the early days of the transition between the outgoing and new administrations. They got screwed and embarrassed and told they're gone... and drop it if you know what's good for you.

meh, by now both sides have had a chance to scrub them however they wanted to

Prince Andrew is a Trump donor?
This is what Google AI tells me when I ask if Prince Andrew donated to Trump's campaign:
quote:
No credible reports or Federal Election Commission (FEC) records indicate that Prince Andrew has ever donated to a Donald Trump campaign. Federal election law in the U.S. strictly prohibits foreign nationals from contributing to any political campaign, including those for federal, state, or local office. As a British citizen, Prince Andrew is considered a foreign national and is therefore banned from making such donations.
I guess take that for what it's worth. I'm sure foreign nationals donate to American politicians one way or another all the time. Election "laws" be damned.

I know facts:
Trump's AG said she has reviewed the evidence, and then, after reviewing, stated that she is in possession of thousands of hours of evidence of rape on that island.
Kind of fricked that you want evidence of rape to remain hidden.

Because this isn't Salem, Mass and we don't drown witches. We have a judicial system for those things.
