Japanese and Germans said the same thing during WW2. Commies said the same during the Cold War. The one thing that can said about “fanatical true believers” —regardless of whether their ideology in police or religious in nature , once you takeaway their means of existence (financial, nutritional , protection ) they divide into fight/fright camps. The fighters die. When enough die, the fright resolve the conflict.

They don't believe that. They just have an excellent understanding of how powerful propaganda can be, especially on western folks. The Iranian people have almost zero connection to the internet, Iranian leaders propaganda is aimed at western folks , hoping to instigate chaos and division.

Remember, when this first started it was reported that armed Kurdish fighters were heading into Iran. Since then we haven't heard anything else about that.
Apart from what the idiots and bots around here speak, Trump has a plan.
These last weeks Mossad/CIA have been organizing the Iranian resistance. The Kurds are definitely part of that.
