It's hilarious. You want to embrace the label the way you did with deplorable but only a few of you are far gone enough to both recognize it and outwardly admit it.

I'm guessing this is bait because if you have to ask what is bad about being a fascist you are either trolling or there's zero hope for you

I’m not so sure that embracing the labels of fascist and deplorable are necessarily comparable, just generally speaking. I mean, neither are something to aspire to, but just seemingly different the embrace. What say you?

This is a definition from livescience.com:

anti-liberalism, rejecting individual rights, civil liberties, free enterprise and democracy

anti-socialism, rejecting economic principles based on socialist frameworks

exclusion of certain groups, often through violence

nationalism that seeks to expand the nation's influence and power

I’m pretty much on board on every point.

But that’s… literally the left. They reject classical liberalism and want people to be subjugated to the state.

Hell no we shouldn’t embrace the label, but we should call them out for projecting.

This is a definition from livescience.com:

It’s authoritarianism with no tolerance for opposition regardless of who tries to redefine it. It doesn’t describe most Americans, and certainly not most Trump supporters that I know.

If anything, it’s pretty close to the totalitarian dirt bags that claim to be liberal today.

Watch "Schindler's List" then "Come and See".

Even if being facetious, I think you'd get the point.

The thing is, with deplorable, it was such a frick up, even in a campaign full of them. And it let all the trump supporters have a huge group identity based win, that worked well with the general sort of tough but fair "bad guy" image that conservatives like to see in themselves as well as Trump's general rudeness.

There's no fun in just calling yourself a fascist unless you're just an awkward twat.

Or being a “Nationalist”

Hell, I would take being called a white nationalist as a compliment.

The definition of such is: a person who strongly identifies with their own nation and vigorously supports its interests, especially to the exclusion or detriment of the interests of other nations.

I’m 100% ok with everything in the meaning of that term.

I see being called a fascist or a communist about the same. Both are evil.

Are you a Nazi, white supremacist, authoritarian, racist, anti-Semite, xenophobe? If the shoe fits, wear it.

But it doesn't fit the vast number of MAGA folks.
