That was answered in the thread earlier.

The deficit was cut. The U.S. deficit has decreased in FY 2025, when it dropped by about 2.8% to $1.78 trillion compared to FY 2024, driven by higher tariff collections and tax revenues.

And Massie voted against it.

How many spending, or debt reductions has Trump proposed that Massie hasn't supported? Please list them.

The last one.

Your turn. When has Massie voted to increase the debt?

Well, maybe you should be more specific with your question.

Was Trump sending out massive amounts of stimulus money in 2020 a good thing or bad thing?

Was an evil necessity. Of all times that the gov should return tax dollars it was when states shut down.

Are you claiming to be one of the clapping seals unable to answer?

Your selective outrage is noted.

No it wasn't. As Rand and Massie said, we have an unemployment program in every State, bolster those programs. There was no need to pay people who still had jobs, and people who already live off of the government. Then dole out PPP loans and never make businesses pay them back. It was a fricked up situation made worse and was an inflection point for the shite inflation we've seen.

It was so poorly implemented that much of that printed money was literally stolen through various unemployment and small business programs.

So no, it was not a necessary evil. In fact, I bet it was crafted to be looted.

Sure it was. Its ok that you disagree. But the money was taxed by the fed. They taxed my businesses, my wife's business and our family.

Without people and businesses the Fed gov has no money.

Now if you want to argue that states should not have closed, fine. I agree with that.

As to the inflation. That really came into play via Joe Biden who kept the nation locked down longer and kept sending out money.

It came equally from Trump and Biden. Biden just prolonged the rise.

Inflation came after re-opening, but the actions prior caused it.

Like I said, if states are going to forcefully shut down business then what did you expect?

Florida was aressting people. Etc etc. I personally had to call the PD to gain permission to go to MY business just to collect a laptop and other materials.

It is what it is. And nobody was prepared for this type of BS.

Take it up with the states.... including the red ones.

So did the Federal Govt. Including the outfit I worked for. I had to take another job for a year as Unemployment Insurance investigator.

My choice would have been to not shut down the nation. But the fed could not force any state to shut down. The only control they have is over federal jobs.

Back to the Massie issue. He voted with the dems in 2023 to add 4+ trillion to the debt. He then bucks Trumps plans that has actually cut the deficit.

What you guys refuse to understand is that the plan is sound. Its common sense.

Now why you dont want to see it is a different matter.
