Why is Israel outing us for involvement in the attacks?

If we helped them with intel for this attack then so be it. But it's pretty clear from statements from our government (Rubio and Trump) that we didn't want to reveal our involvement.
Now they're publicly saying that we were involved in helping them pull off this attack.
This is a betrayal of the highest order

I think we were involved. I don't know why we just don't admit it. I mean... if you act like this other countries are not going to trust or believe anything you say.

My bad, I didn't catch the distinction in your OP- was just kind of lazing through, I misunderstood you.
You're right... it IS different.
*Maybe by facilitating they meant moving assets and making way? You know, evacuating people and whatnot?

Same... buuuut... if Iran is truly hobbled at the moment, maybe the shock and awe of Israel's precision paired with being bereft of certain leaders and scientists at the moment, means the need for secrecy is over?

True. I'm not sure what is left of the Iranian military leadership at this point
I'm sure they have some method for order of succession but they probably can't make decisions quickly right now and are trying to regroup

Powerman is saying Israel said "we helped facilitate"... not just and simply that we were aware.
