I’m puzzled why you think that. I’m a covid skeptic, and I have been from the beginning. Four weeks after initial lockdowns, and after extensive study, I estimated the fatality rate to be radically lower than what was being bandied about. I estimated 0.6% in April 2020. In November 2020 the CDC was estimating 0.58%. They didn’t publish that. You had to divide deaths (500,000) by their estimated cases (about 85,000,000).

After reaching these conclusions, and having supported the initial lockdowns (to prevent overwhelming the hospitals), we started actively living life again. We felt that those who were vulnerable had enough opportunity to isolate themselves. We both caught covid, both easily handled it (we were 58 and in fantastic shape), and both got vaccinated.

The reason we got vaccinated is because I had done enough research to feel extremely confidant that the mRNAs were safe, and so we did it as a community service.

Research led me to believe covid was not a threat, and research led me to believe that the vaccine was no threat. Simple.
