Why does the left get so triggered when secession is brought up?

You would think they would be happy to be separated from us redneck knuckle draggers, clinging to our Bibles and assault rifles.
We would honestly be happy to break away from the left under almost any circumstances. We want nothing to do with their demonic culture and values. You would think they would want to separate from us as well?

It's very simple. They want to control you and your issue into perpetuity.

They know their "utopia" doesn't exist without the folks willing to work and contribute to society...

Because their entire value system collapses when you remove the half of the country that actually produces. See the current state of the Soviet Union...oh, wait...

They are afraid of fending for themselves

So much of their utopian vision of the world is actually a vision of dictating to the unwashed masses. So many of their adherents are nerds and outcasts who view their political rise as a way to strike back and counter their personal failings and lack of purpose.
Such it is with most radical movements.

Because we are the providers, the worker, the ones with initiative and intelligence. Look at South Africa. That’s what happens when leftists are in charge and they get rid of the productive population. They starve. Google Johannesburg.

Because they don't farm, build homes, or fix your plumbing.

Because the "topic" is actually treason and civil war, Americans killing Americans in the name of a right wing utopia.
Basically because it's idiot talk by idiots.

It is an election platform talking point, and we are getting close to that time. They want the "sheeple" thought to be congruent with the gaslighting efforts. Damn the reality.

This entire federal government is Treason and civil war.
If everyone on the right decided to form a country in the middle of the desert, leaving everything else to the left. The left would still freak out, especially when the right built a better society out of nothing in the desert

Because they don't want everyone running to a haven where taxes are lower, crime is punished, people work for a living, they hold their government Representatives accountable, woke insanity is called out and marginalized, people live by a moral code....you know, normal.

Most are acting upon emotion, rather than exploring facts.
For those on the left who are honest about their beliefs … they prefer federalism and a centralized government, as opposed to a decentralized model that relieves individuals from being under the thumb of an overbearing entity. Smaller government preserves human liberties and rights, rather than forcing a top-down form of governance.
For geopolitical reasons, big government folks want to control territory and easily collect taxes without having to go through local, self-governing entities.

This is categorically false and only serves to show you don’t know the facts.
Without getting into the aggression inherent in your comment, treason—by law—consists only of two things: taking arms against the government and/or harboring enemy soldiers. You’re certainly free to have your opinion, but please don’t hijack and/or rewrite words.

I used to think it was a crazy idea, but I've read some sincere posts on this board and maybe it's no so crazy. I still don't understand how you plan on splitting states when the divide is more rural vs urban but it's an interesting conversation.
I'm not convinced anywhere near a majority of Americans are on board with it. It seems to swing back and forth depending on whether your guy won the latest presidential election.

Most Texans are. It’s up to the rest of you Americans to figure it out. We are out of here.

The fact that some even consider secession, or worse, should be a cautionary tale about how far the left is pushing their agenda. Sorta like kicking a dog over and over then wondering why he bit you...

I don't get it either. They always boast about how much more tax revenue they send to the federal government versus the red states like that is a reason the red states should want to stay in the Union.
It seems as if we are a bane on the Union they would gladly let us leave. They could be much richer without us poor rednecks draining the current system.

Your boy Brandon is pushing to a left wing utopia. Are a majority of Americans on board with it?

I don't think most of anyone is on board with any one political movement. 75%+ of any given population is just there for the ride.
What % of the original colonists supported the American patriots in the rebellion against England? I think it was like less than 5%.
