There should be national background checks. You should have handguns.

Let’s apply this logic to the 4th amendment. Do you really need a good lawyer? A crappy incompetent one should be good enough to defend you from false accusations from the government, right?

Why do you need an AR-15,

1) I do not own a firearm of any type.

HOWEVER:

2) When the local sheriff is called out on a dude over 30 times and FBI over 3 times...and STILL nothing is done? Perhaps, the citizenry feels it is its its best interest to protect itself and not rely on the LEO to intercede in advance. What tools said citizenry decides to employ is up to the individuals.

3) The 2A is NOT the source of the right to have the choice...it is the RESTRAINT placed on Fed Gov to infringe upon it.

I am a Second Amendment supporter.

My family in the Northeast--a state with strong gun laws, has handguns.

I am a supporter of the 2A.

I just don't understand why Cruz killed 17 people.

And why do they need a warrant to search out property? Let's just go full patriot act.

If you want to have this conversation in reality, this is probably not the best angle to take. Public defenders are often severely overworked and outmatched against the prosecution.

This is really a poorly thought out analogy on your point.

Are you insinuating that only public defenders are incompetent lawyers?

No

In fact I didn't claim they were incompetent. I claimed they were overworked.

His argument is a poor one. To pretend that our justice system works equally for the poor because of the 4th amendment is just willful ignorance.

Why did Rosa Parks need to sit at the front of the bus, a seat that would have gotten her to her destination just as quickly as a seat at the back?

Explain.
