There’s no more Cold War. The whole reason we set up this global intelligence network is gone.

Anything and everything we need to keep good solid tabs on is under the purview of standard military intelligence. The CIA and NSA might actually play a role if they locked arms along the eastern african shores and kept the Chinese out, but other than that, totally useless.

Why do we continue to fund an agency(s) that have no real purpose anymore?

We need them to spy on other countries because every other country is spying on us. Its a necessary evil.

Do we need them to conduct assassinations, instigate coups and foment violence around the world? The body count from CIA ops since the Cold War began has to be in the tens of millions.

Yes. The world is not a nice place. Other countries are not our friends. Sometimes we need nasty people to do our dirty work.

Yes it’s great

But back to the CIA, when have they done a real, actual, documented, good job?

“Hurrrr you’d never know about it!”

Well, I know about a lot of shite jobs they’ve done, and the world at large is going to hell and is a shite hole, so I’d say it’s safe to say they’ve done nothing good.

Are you kidding? You must understand other countries have an equivalent to the CIA.

Spy on WHAT in other countries, exactly?

We have ambassadors who keep tabs on the doings of their host countries’ politics.

We have military intelligence which keeps tabs on military capabilities and tech.

What, EXACTLY, is the CIA and NSA doing that outweighs all the tomfoolery they conduct that fricks everything up?

You can’t actually be serious.

You think Ambassadors are able to gather a complete and thorough analysis of other countries domestic politics?

You think the DIA is able to operate freely enough in foreign nations to paint a complete picture of their military capabilities?

CIA provides a unequaled and unrivaled HUMINT gathering an analysis capability, and the NSA is the king of SIGINT.

The existence of these organizations isn’t the problem - it’s the entrenchment of politicians and bureaucrats at the highest levels of these organizations who have no problem subverting the constitution and pursuing endless war for the benefit of then MIC.

True. We could have guys that run car and can crushers do the foreign negotiations with other countries. You know why? They know as much about their traditions and life as we know about America anymore. Roll the dice, play ball with snakes. You may win.

You are correct WE don't need the CIA. The USA has not had one in many decades. We should stop funding branches of the Rothschild DS Kabal.

Ambassadors and MI are able to gather as much as we reasonably need, just as they did for 150 years.

Why would we give a shite what so and so’s minority party said on an email about whatever?

Fact is, we don’t. Not for the amount of money being spent. The state dept and MI provide the essentials.

What is the usefulness of this information or contacts the CIA is gathering? “They helped find osama and bagdaddy”. Two people created by the USA when the CIA stuck its nose into shitholes and determined it was in our interest to frick some shite up. Thanks CIA.

One of my favorite lines from a Cohen brother's movie, Burn After Reading:

Maybe it's the Cold War ending. Now it seems like it's all bureaucracy, no mission
