GOP state legislature’s could have defunded these institutions into submission but have simply sat on their asses and done little of nothing. We’ve got to do a better job of forcing their hands on fixing this. I’ve been told it’s never too late but this may be the exception.

Why do we continue to value public Universities the way we do? Bulk majority of the people I know who are successful only dabbled in it or not at all.

I agree 100% but taxpayers spend hundreds of millions to billions yearly on indoctrination re-education and much of this is occurring in states with GOP led legislatures. Why can’t they fix it ?

Perhaps they should do a better job of funding K-12, based on your struggles with simple punctuation.

This is a huge problem and no one seems to care. State Republican leaders (loosely) will not challenge college boards.

I've wondered the same thing myself, but a good tool to stop a lot of this is to eliminate tenure.

Do you realize that the Left has been in control of US education since AT LEAST the late 1940s?

I say this to underscore my point, which is that this particular battle was lost long, long ago.

If you don’t have anything to add other than proofreading a tablet spell check you should just frick right off.

That’s what bothers me. I feel like it’s just not an issue with our base and seldom gets attention when it matters the most. I believe its our biggest flaw to date.

This goes to a bigger point and why the left has been fricking us for years. Republicans think all they need to do is get Republicans elected and have them do tax cuts. They have had 0% interest in influencing culture which the left has taken over.

This may be the only way to purge the classrooms. They wouldn’t even have to send them a pink slip due to the likeliness they leave for safer pastures.

More conservatives should go into academia.

because those who can, do. Those that can't, teach.

this comes from someone who's parents were both teachers and who's daughter and husband both teach.

The ones doing the hiring and firing need to do a better job of insuring more balance here. Taxpayers need to demand it from our regents.

I think there's only three states that actually set curriculum for their state (CA, NY, TX) and all the other states save money by just copying them.

We better start finding conservatives that can do both.

The simplest solutions is to bypass college and shift tens of millions of Americans into trade schools instead.

Socialists have been working for 150 years to first control the schools, then to get the mothers out of the house and the kids into the government schools at an earlier age. They knew that they could turn society on it’s head through the children. It’s pretty much game over at this point. Families are addicted to 2 incomes, and even if they weren’t, aint nobody got time to educate their own kids. That’s for weirdos and the uber-religious.

They own the schools. They own Hollywood and 95% of the media. They own big tech and now they own the legislative and executive branches of government. They will own the 3rd branch soon. Buckle up.

No. It's the hiring protocols. If the best candidate who is conservative goes before a committee of 3 left wing hacks he has been rejected before he interviews.
