There's not necessarily anything wrong with it, but why DID she go?
Was this just a random photo op? Just weird to send the First Lady into a war zone for a photo op. She not a government employee. Shouldn't she be reading to kids or promoting safe sex or something?
My thought is that nobody is paying attention to the folks Biden is sending over there, so they thought sending Jill might get more traction in the media.

Every First Lady does photo ops. Maybe it’s a photo op, but her being there is a big deal for Ukrainians. Shows the US supports them.
