If Red states were thinking on a truly intelligent level they would start planning for some acceptable level of autonomy from the Federal government.....that may include enticing some pharmaceutical companies to locate manufacturing facilities in their states that if need be could be used for the state's purposes.....producing other necessities in state wouldn't be a bad idea either or at least partner with other solid Red states as some sort of consortium to lessen dependence on the federal government.

Let’s have all the states with the highest purchasing power buy up the whole supply so we can’t get any here.

Well...the obvious answer to to bar them from buying ANY and letting FedGov ration them (or, just cut them off altogether)
