This is Jindalesque spin. Numerically true, but ignores a ton of stuff cut from points in government by sequestration including medical research among many other important things.
You can't randomly cut things convenient to you (Jindaling) and then claim you are improving the deficit, especially when financial groups you bailed out are being investigated for fraud.
Both sides spin things to go their way, just like the unemployment #'s. Their all spin and no context.
In the end, both Dems and Repubs suck.

No one who champions The ACA can whine too much about Medicare Part D. But it was awful.
