Prepare for down votes.
But, you're correct. I've read something like 60% draw disability. That's simply not close to possible. Most veterans never see combat.

Who’s going to repeal the disastrous ADA?

If you are not in a protected class shall we say, it is damn near impossible to get disability. If you do manage to get it, they will watch you like a hawk.

A lot of vets do get disabled for non combat type work. But I agree if you’re in a protected class, it is easy as hell to get.
In the Marine Corps I remember a lot of people would have supposed back injuries but on weekends you’d see the on the court playing basketball and drinking fawties.

I have seen numbers ranging from $50-60B/yr in fraud for Medicare / Medicaid. I've also seen some higher. This Forbes piece says it's around $100B. The CMS budget is about $1.5T each year.
So instead of stopping fraud, they hire more irs agents to try and collect more taxes from tipped employees. Or instead of auditing themselves to find waste, they audit your grandmas floral shop.
Great system we have.

I can’t imagine the dollar amount attached to disability fraud alone.
Hopefully they look at military disability as well. 100% disabled vets working full time govt jobs needs to be addressed.
Vets should not be able to add % disability points for a bum knee 10 yrs after being discharged, but it’ happens every single day.

He's not wrong. Definitely not a blanket statement but a lot of honorably discharged vets did not honorably serve.

My wife taught at a public middle school for 25 years. Just about every kid in the school got crazy checks. My question has always been: why are children getting checks when they are not the breadwinner of the family?
