I agree. I loved JP2 and he was a good and holy man. I actually thought he did too much in the way of travel. A pope’s main job is to guard the Catholic Faith and to shepherd the Catholic Church members. He is also the Bishop of Rome. I preferred Benedict as far as a pope. Francis tried to be like JP2 instead of being like every other pope in Church history. JP2 set an unrealistic standard and Francis had no business trying to follow in his footsteps. Francis talked too much and was way too informal of a pope.
