That lady doesn’t have a job without keeping people dependent on government entitlements. We need to reset the system. We have to put a cap on children or length of time a person can receive welfare. It’s simply too generous to entice people to get off of it.

Dr. Sowell could be one of the smartest men of the last hundred years, and part of his brilliance is to whittle complex issues down to very understandable concepts.

and he is living proof that black people do not have to be thralls of the Democrat party

Hey look Democrats! They can have independent thoughts a lot smarter than any of yours, for real.

I wonder if he ever wrote anything about how he parents helped him turn out the way he is, other than the DNA of course.

Yes. Extensively on his background. I've YouTubed every video it seemed.

The last two four wheeler repbuilds were done in the shop with his interviews playing constantly on the background.

He's pretty incredible. I do t agree with him on everything but the things I disagree on I'm very appreciative of how he came to his conclusion and how logical and thought out his arguments on.

fricking refreshing, especially in a world of base all decisions off of one feelings...

Not sure about Sowell, but Clarence Thomas talks about it a lot. That alone makes his auto biography worth reading. “Give out but don’t give up” us something I say often to myself and my daughter.
