Agreed. While the MSM (Marxist Dems propaganda machine) has been losing viewership, their influence remains strong. In recent years the long form podcast and social media has allowed folks to gain access to ideas outside of the MSM propaganda narrative and has led to a better informed public.

China is just a symptom of the corporate greed that has eaten this nation alive for decades. Our government is owned by the whims of the stock market and China is a primary driving engine behind it. Until we stop worshipping "profit" above all other things, we'll continue to rot. China has its own significant problems, but they're in a better position in many aspects than we are for the future.
