Dems really believe the Supreme Court will undo gay marriage and go as far as to outlaw interracial marriage. The panic after the Roe decision is unreal.
Four of the dissenting judges in the gay marriage case are still on the court, so yes, if given the chance, this court would certainly "undo gay marriage".
No telling what those four knuckleheads would have done with Loving v. Virginia. But states aren't going to be wanting to change those laws.

I don’t believe that gay marriage will be, or should be overruled any more than interracial marriage. I don’t think anything in Dobbs required it.

That would be epic.

Yep. It's the right to privacy that these judges think aren't protected. Abortion, sodomy, birth control. We need more evidence that the court would actually go so far as to go after the marriage issues. Thomas' musings notwithstanding.

I can't invite someone to my house and kill them and then claim a constitutional right to privacy since it was all done on private property. The right to human life is the basic fundamental of all other rights.

Deleted since comment isn't really relevant to OPs question.

Absolutely nothing wrong with interracial marriages....as long as they are a male and a female, IMO.
This is how it starts lol

I realize that we aren't really talking mestizos and white women, but I'm the darkest looking Mexican you can find, and I married a redhead, and we had too little coffee colored kids My grandson is a wonderful melanin-impared redhead. Whitest kid you've ever seen.
I can't wait to inculcate the guy with the guilt of his forefathers. The Pilgrims and the sumbitch Aztecs.

need to bring back the immunities and privileges clause of the 14th of amendment to replace the made of "substantive due process" and bingo, everything Thomas listed in his opinion is magically Constitutional without making up shite from thin air

They just need to end state sponsored marriage

Yup - both are protected. There is simply no rational basis to discriminate against that kind of civil contract. The colors or Genders of the adults involved says nothing about spiritual or other kind of marriage.
Give to God what is God’s and Cesar what is Cesar’s.
Marriage Insofar as it’s civil effects - Inheritance, spousal support, community property, etc. belong to Cesar.
Give the rest to God to decide and keep the Gvt the hell out of it. Especially if you’re one of the lucky ones. It’s been my experience in my own and with respect to my friends and family with good marriages - the more the spiritual end is solid and you’re on the same page about it, it’s a blessing and can truly be a “to death do us part” situation. Nothing is a stronger guarantee of happiness. I think we need more marriages, not less.

Blood type is a difference, as well, and is a difference shared between different "races". There are a lot of differences between human beings, but we are all still human beings, made in the image of God.

While I see your point, 15% isn't insignificant.

Do people really think there is one in this day?
I know someone who thinks this is true. It's very sad.
