Yeah... I post on the outdoor board there because I like fishing. That one isn't too bad because the board rules say no politics, but even there you'll see the dumb shite come out in regards to EV or Sustainable Energy.
To me what's really scary about it is I know those are real people. Every once in a while I'll check out the OT and I've seen them say that JBE encouraging more sustainable energy is behind the global natural gas shortage. I've seen them say that liberals voted for the Stockton serial killer. And of course, I've seen them say that Jan 6 was a peaceful protest.
They're just broken people and without turning this thread into a big sociological treatise, unfortunately society is offering them no off ramp. It's just a bad and sad situation all around.

They also occasionally wind up breaking the news on rumors about public figures, and there's about a 50/50 shot that they're accurate.
LaToya being spotted staying at the Pontalba broke there first if memory serves me correct. Same with Mitch giving the concrete contract for the airport to his cousin. Just gotta sift through the Bill Gates microchip and Michelle Obama is a man nonsense to find it.

I imagine they are mangers of grocery stores , engineers and plant workers, state workers, small business owners. I have talked to this group of folks and that is how they think. Remember the owners of Rouses were at the capitol on Jan 6. Are they busy posting on TDs? Maybe not. But their managers are. Plant workers are.

Reddit mods ban anything that does not fit the narrative. Back in the day it was awesome for free speech. Still offers some use, but not as good as it was 10 years ago.
