Where were all these virtue signalers in 2018?

Where was all the outrage 2 years ago when Botham Jean, an innocent, unarmed black man was alone in his apartment eating a bowl of ice cream when Amber Guyger, a white female cop walked in and shot him in cold blood? Botham Jean was an accountant for crying out loud. The prosecution even had texts and social media posts from Guyger that were considered “racist and offensive.”
I remember when it happened and people were like “yeah that sucks” but he was forgotten a few days later. Now we have a POS cop killing a POS criminal, and NOW all hell breaks loose. His murder was unjustified, but all this virtue signaling BS has turned him into a martyr. NOW we gotta have marches and apologize for being white and have blackout Tuesday on Instagram.
Here’s some advice for all these celebrities and GenZ kids thinking they’re making a real difference. Quit acting like a bunch of pretentious assholes and go focus your energy in being honest, responsible, reliable, and just an overall good person. Positivity is infectious and if everyone would make the effort to conduct themselves in that way, we wouldn’t need a protest.

True that, but I also think there's a couple more factors, the most prevalent being a really ugly video that's tailor made for maximum outrage. And it is that.

It has been a very big deal here in DFW.
We also did not have 300 million people locked up for 2 months when that happened.
All this blood is on the hands of Fauci, Birx and Trump for listening to those people. Lockdown should have never happened.

That's one of the biggest head scratchers to me. These movements always seems to pick garbage people to turn into martyrs. Alton Sterling, Michael Brown, etc. What about the video that showed that cop in South Carolina shooting a black guy running away. I remember thinking if any case deserves outrage, this would be it. Hardly a blip on the national radar from what I remember.
