Where is this fervor and outrage from the Left for Chicago’s killing field?

I don’t get this lack of urgency nor the lack of an unbridled demand for change as it relates to the killings in inner cities in Chicago or the poverty in NOLA, LA, SF, or every other inner city in the US.
I guess i could side with them more on this issue if there were no killing zones in our inner cities wherein people live in fear like those coming from Mexico and Central America Or if the US didn’t have its own financial issues.
My motto has always been charity begins at home. First take of your own house than start branching out to others. For some reason the Left Wants to take care of the world while abandoning its own people-one of their main constituentcies.
It really is quite amazing that nationally the plight of our inner cities is not getting Wall to Wall coverage like this immigration issue is getting.
The only thing i can think of is covering the inner city issues like the immigration one would require exposing democratic leadership on both a national and a local level that can’t be twisted as Trump’s fault.

North Baton Rouge is a damn war zone. It would probably be the most dangerous city in America if everything north of Florida was a separate city

It would definitely be up there with the worst
Which is puzzling why people, many of which have some ties to Baton Rouge focus so much on Chicago.
Plenty of examples right in the back yard if you're a LA resident.

Simple- The left doesn't care about black people.
Tell me I'm wrong, TugJobGator, by all means

There is no outrage where there is no narrative.
