Where has #MeToo gone?

For months hardly a news cycle went by without a mention of some new #MeToo story. The movement was rolling along with no signs of letting up but then in August the story came out that one of the originators of the movement, actress/director Asia Argento, had forced herself on a young male working on a film for/with her and then paid him hush money.
Since that story broke there have been not only no new #MeToo stories but check-backs on older stories have stopped as well.

It went the way of all superficial leftist causes: it faded away.
Leftist are governed by their emotions and because they are human, their emotions are always changing. They can’t possibly keep up the amount of concern and emotional distress required to sustain these baseless movements so they have to keep creating new outrages to keep them going. The old outrage just disappears.
Perhaps if they were driven by principle their movements would last longer and have greater effect in society.

What happened to the angry Tea Party and National debt? "The Debt Clock" is broken?
