I'm done with Nike and figured Under Armour would now get all of my business due to the CEO wanting to MAGA. But I recall that he started back peddling once his snowflake athletes started crying. Is that a correct summary?

Nike can go get f***ed!

If you're looking for the companies you do business with to share your political values rather than taking stances that benefit their bottom line, you're going to have a bad time.

frick this line of thinking. I don't want CEOs or company's involved in politics. It's just terrible business to begin with.

That is basically my argument. I prefer to support a company that is less political. Which is unfortunate because Nike's origination is the quintessential American dream story. Trust me, I lived in Eugene Oregon and had to hear about it pretty much on a daily basis. I have friends who's parents were asked to be investors when Knight was going door to door with his waffle iron.

If there is one out there that happens to MAGA, then even better!

I dont mind it from a personal side, but once a ceo issues a statement on behalf on the company, thats where i draw the line.

Amazing advice from some idiot on a message board that has no clue what my life is like. Enjoy a down vote for your stupid comment that in NO WAY contributed to the discussion.

They don't boycott things that actually affect their life so it really is all for show. If they boycotted any company that came out against Trump or the agenda of the right, they wouldn't be on computers, cell phones, Facebook, etc.

I highly doubt they'll miss the little money you spend on their product.

I feel bad for people at his gym or people he hunts with. Nekkid cold bastard wondering around deer camp in a blanket.

Or at the gym in those old striped high waisted workout pants everybody wore in the 80's.

I just bought both brands yesterday. I shop based on price and quality, not politics.

That was a joke. Lululemon is terribly overpriced and for women.

But seriously, if you're going to politicize everything in your life, then you're going to become extremely miserable very fast. But if you're going to go forward with it, start with stuff you already own. You'll find that you'll end up throwing a lot of stuff away just because of who it came from.

For starters, if you own a Ford or Chevy vehicle then you're supporting Democrats. Good chance they were built by Union workers who fund the Democratic party.

Good luck with your venture though. Keep us updated for the lulz!
