I’d be more worried about that than “Trump’s schtick.”
China is displacing us because we are letting it happen....or in the case of Biden actively managing America's decline....the long term trend favors China regardless but I am not sure that the bigger existential threat is less so China and other state actors than it is internally. I really do consider the Democrat Party, in its current incarnation, to be the bigger threat. By the time Biden leaves office, you will probably have an illegal population the size of Florida admitted into this country.
But I digress: The immediate challenge is to sieze the Executive Branch and Senate in 2024. The line-up is much more favorable and it can be done. That is what needs to be happen immediately. Trump was great identifying zeitgeist of the base and reshaping the agenda to a national populist message but I just keep coming back to the fact that I cannot see a way to 270 by running Trump again. Whether its fair or not it just attainable and it is going to require a different approach and Trump, his baggage, his flaws, and his constant feuding isn't going to get it done.

It is so DISLOYAL that you have given up on what Trump worked so diligently to give you and all of us common folk!
He kept his promises to us even when they tried to beat him down like a Rocky movie! Just when he needs us most to appreciate everything he fought for and tried to do and much of it he actually accomplished, we have those who so easily want to sweep him away like rubbish due to the constant and unfair abuse of the fake media who do nothing good for this country and constantly try to brainwash the populous to sway you (so easily done due to mass stupidity) to their point of view! Get real and think for yourself; don't ever let anyone or anything decide for you!

Are you aware of the fairly wide array of takes on the definitions of “disloyal” or “loyal?” For instance, if I say “I’m loyal to Budweiser” or “I’m a loyal customer of Acme Hardware Store, forget the big box stores” it doesn’t mean I’m in a Budweiser or Acme Hardware Store cult.

"Takes."
Let's just stick to the definition:
quote:
dis·loy·al
/dis'loi(?)l/
adjective
failing to be loyal to a person, country, or body to which one has obligations.

Yeah, Disloyal all day and I will stand by it because if you can honestly say you are better off now then when Trump was potus; I will take it back, but only if you're honest!

It must be so deflating to know deep down that your candidates will never win in a national election. Congratulations, you can look forward to being the graceful loser until they stop pretending your vote matters.

No one is discounting Trump's accomplishments but those accomplishments are getting further and further in the rearview mirror. The issue is the here and now and can he effectively galvanize the opposition to the Democrats, runs successful campaign, articulate his vision, and effectively govern in the future.
What I see is a massive self-implosion. In fact, I really don't think he is serious about a third run.

Better off how?
Financially?

Early on, the best way I heard it put was, "Trump didn't always shoot himself in the foot, but he did load it and hand to his enemies." Spot on.

DeSantis has a pretty decent chance if he decides to run.
Either way, he isn't 0-1 against Biden. I know someone who is, speaking of deflating and not so graceful losers.

For one, yes and every other way... freedom, safety etc..

The biggest financial hit I took in the last two decades happened in 2020. Trump was still in office and he completely fricked us over with his COVID response.

Can't say I've ever relied on who happened to be sitting in the White House for either.
What else ya got?

This is sheer disillusionment from a scorned aristocracy. A republican will not win a presidential race in MI, PA, or WI anytime in the next decade, barring dramatic changes to the electoral process.

So everyone operates under the same exact interpretation of all things, all words, at all times? C’mon man you know that’s not a rational assertion. Hell Bill Clinton even tried to dunk on everyone with confusion as to what the definition of “is” is.
Intention of the declarant is paramount in how to interpret one’s use of a term. That’s what makes the idea of context so important. I bet I’m not telling you anything you don’t know, you just don’t want to acknowledge it. Which we all do at times, so there’s my olive branch.

You might not be old enough to remember, but Dubya lost all three. Twice.

No. The only way you can do those things is to act like a toddler and shoot yourself in the foot to avoid any chances of ever getting elected again.

I don't generally subscribe to the William Jefferson Clinton School of Dialogue.

Being accurate in how we use words is more important than allowing stupidity to reign.
