When Democrats say "the majority of Americans support ______"...

As someone who does public opinion research for a living, I can assure you that you can get any response you want from people by simply how you phrase or word the question.

It's why I can stand most political pollsters. They are full of shite and their outcomes are predetermined, and they structure the survey to get their desired outcomes.

I think its higher than that. But they can go lower by asking leading questions or a leading statement before the question.

For example I conduct focus groups and you have to be really careful with how you word the questions. When we are focus grouping our own product we want to get actual information instead of pre-determined information. It's a science in and of itself
