I fricked a Ukranian Swim Team member from Kiev. She pronounced it between Keev and Key-ev... one syllable, but the i and e are both distinct.



What in the frick, were you doing, to make her say that, while you were doing that? Keev...Kiev. lol:

How long were you there? - I retired in '93. but I never worked with any of the payload specialist type astronauts - only the flight crews. Some great memories from those early years
