Whatever happened to Shorty Rob?

Hope he's ok, he was one of the boards' best posters and engaged in the slapdown of some of the boards most vocal idiots.
Did he just leave? Posting under an alter? Passed away?

I miss Bunyan and confuse Shorty Rob and Robb Bob. One of the Robb's got banned years ago for arguing with NavyTiger and AssuRob. I think they returned then left again.

To answer. ShortyRob reads the board all the time but was banned in Feb of frickin 2022 for including the term "Hard Rs" in a response. To be fair, I had it coming so, it is what it is.
However. I've seen that same euphemism used several times especially since. Regardless. I'm not sure why it seems to have warranted a PERMANENT ban with literally zero response to any request for reinstatement.
I think that's an awfully poor practice when dealing with VERY long term customers. Sure. We don't pay but the advertising dollars are a direct result of us being in here. Yeah. One guy is meaningless I'm sure. But still.
So. Feel free to advocate for ShortyRob but it appears that at least one mod just isn't going to allow Shory's return.
