What would it take to really compete with Google, Facebook and Twitter?

It has to be done if we are ever to win another election. You have 75 million plus people that would throw them down in a heartbeat if they had a place to go.

Can it BE done? Could a Trump or anyone raise the Capital and the resources people and know how to truly compete, and defeat, the true enemies of Democracy?

They, and the MSM , are the ones that truly cost him the election, and are the ones propping up the Democrats. Without them, Biden doesn't stand a chance. He never would have won.

They are the tools. Without them none of this happens.

Most people are too lazy to switch. Fear of missing out if they do switch but their friends or family haven't. It is a bit of a hassle because it takes some effort. If more people would get over those things, there are existing apps and sites worth using. They are not mature sites yet so people shouldn't expect them to be just like Facebook, etc.

I'm guilty too, not going to lie. Not on Facebook or Twitter and am off Google except for YouTube. I try to avoid YouTube but some of the channels I really enjoy have not moved or cross-posted their videos to other platforms.

The main challenge is that the three company's you mentioned (add Amazon as well) didn't just spring up overnight. They all have years of a headstart on any new entrants into their markets, MeWe is a good example.

MeWe is getting some traction, but it is dwarfed by it's main competitor. That doesn't mean they won't be successful, there is certainly a market for Not- Facebook/Twitter/Google. When someone says Social media, 99% of the population's first thought is Facebook, it will take a long time for that to change to MeWe, etc..

Gab has a decent design but they are behind in execution.
They still don't have enough infrastructure to handle the incredible surge in volume over the past few weeks and it runs very slow.

Hate to tell you but there are tens of millions of conservatives that support all of those companies because they are fricking lazy and refuse to stop.

What are these existing sites?
I use Rumble as much as I can. Still have to go to Youtube for some content since Rumble does not have a lot of content yet.
I use DuckduckGO
