Because the Left (and much of the Right) are children.
To get a whiny child to be quiet, just jangle something shiny above their crib and they will drift back to sleep.
Offer up a pretend solution to a problem, act as if you've done something meaningful then move on to the next scam.

No, dumbass, being better suited for combat doesn’t make it more dangerous. Rifles and pistols are sold in roughly the same quantities yet pistols kill many more times more people annually. That makes them more dangerous, primarily due to the ability to conceal.

Stop and frisk would take illegal guns off the street that could be used in these shootings.
