What is the likelihood the U.S. goes to war with China?

Serious question, not a troll or anything. I was wondering if some of the experts on this board think that a war with China will happen in the near future. We already went to war with Vietnam for being Communist asshats. The Chinese are much bigger communist asshats and they just spread a potentially deadly virus around the entire planet. They also have public circle jerks where they brag about being able to nuke the U.S. in 30 minutes. What will be the last straw with the Chinese?

Of course as mentioned they do have nukes, and nuclear hellfire wouldn’t be good for anyone. If a declaration of war isn’t on the table, perhaps a Cold War? Phase them out of all trade discussions? Something has to give

Conventional War

0.00000000001%

Would be political suicide.

Economic War

There's a very good chance we see some policies to hurt the Chinese not just here but much of the western world. Maybe the US and EU would look towards Central and South America to manufacture for cheap labor instead of China.

you can play bully ball like that when you're the big kid on the block, but I don't think it's nearly as easy when you're doing it to another country that's almost as bigger as you are, economically-speaking

china ain't cuba, we need them almost as much as they need us.

Zero.

Chances of us uprooting a quarter of their GDP: very high.

Want to kill China??? Just convince the rest of the world to stop buying their worthless, cheap shite. You'd never have to fire a shot.

Actual War as in Bullets and Bombs. Never. Economic War and Cyber War already well underway.

Unless you wish to see the end of humanity as we know it you better pray it is 0. We could win the war, but at what cost? Couple billion dead is not worth one coronavirus outbreak. Economic repositioning needs to happen.

A shooting war? Zero percent unless China takes overt action to draw us in. I'm content to keep pounding them economically.

Irrelevant saber-rattling. If it did come down to a shooting war with them, MAD would apply. They know any nuke they sent would be answered, and whatever else you can say about them, they want to live just as much as we do.

Stupid to say we "need" china. They've only been apart of our economy since Nixon. The u.s. was just fine before that.

The three main reasons we would go to war with China that have existed for decades are still possible scenarios. I'm not sure what arse hatery you are discussing but the three main reasons that still exist are-

1. A Chinese attack on Taiwan
2. A Confrontation in the South China Sea
3. A fight in Korea

Pretty much.

Even with Mao talking out of arse about losing have of his population and still having 500 million left, the stark reality is that the US has the nuclear capability that China would have to reinvent the f*cking abacus.

I see a few people get it. China and Russia are doing everything they can to subvert the American state both at home and abroad. You only need to look at who is backing the Globalists and Progs and see that they are taking our country apart brick by brick.
