They dont want to acknowledge it.

It’s still Israel vs Iran-by proxy

There have been several reports of Christian areas getting hit, but I don't think Israel cares much. Nor should they. If that's where the Hezbollah leaders are, that's where they're going to strike. It sucks for any innocents caught up in this, but the number is very low.
Moving forward I think we will see Hezbollah either destroyed or driven out of Lebanon by the Lebanese government. They were frickin warned. In writing.

I'm not going to feel any differently about it regardless of where the strikes hit unless we start seeing wholesale carpet bombing type attacks on civilians and that isn't happening.

What the hell do you think Israel did to Gaza?? And now… southern Lebanon??
They are literally destroying everything, and everyone. Period. No discrimination. Just destroying everything to claim their land as theirs.
Some of you need to wake the F up!!

You need to wake the frick up. Emotive appeals have no place in war. The rockets came from Southern Lebanon and they were warned not to do it. They were told what would happen if they did it and it happened anyways.
Again, the US and Israel are putting an end to these people's bullshite. This is what that looks like.

I’m wide awake dude.
All these Middle East wars are for one thing, and one thing only.
The Greater Israel Project.
From the Nile to the Euphrates.
Israel is taking land to broaden its borders.

This is stupid in this particular context. Again, it shouldn't have come to this. They were warned and they attacked anyways. Hezbollah should have stayed the frick out of it and the Lebanese Government should have removed the fricking terrorists from their country long ago.
This was easily avoidable.

Huckabee, a Christian Zionist, would not disavow the belief that the Bible promised that land to Israel – even though it now encompasses all or part of Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Syria.
“It would be fine if they took it all,” Huckabee said, leading to anger from those countries and others in the region, many of which are close US allies.
Then, speaking on Monday, Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid said that he would support “anything that will allow the Jews a large, broad, strong land and a safe haven for us”.
“Zionism is based on the Bible. Our mandate over the land of Israel is biblical, [and] the biblical borders of the land of Israel are clear … Therefore, the borders are the borders of the Bible,” the apparently secular Israeli politician said.
So what is Greater Israel exactly? And is it really an ultimate goal for some Israeli politicians?
Defining Greater Israel
The most expansionist claim for a Greater Israel is based on a biblical verse (Genesis 15:18-21), which narrates God making a covenant with Abraham that promises his descendants the land between the Nile and the Euphrates.

Stopped reading right here because none of this makes a single fricking difference as to what is happening in Lebanon.

Hezbollah came to be after the devastating war in Lebanon with Israel in the early 80s. They were formed from the Shia Lebanese who have been part of the lower classes of Lebanon for a long time. They opposed the zionist regime and supported Palestinians. Being Shia they began coordinating and receiving material support from the Iranians. Israel has been fighting them off and on for awhile.
And the Lebanese government is too weak to do anything about Hezbollah being there.

Southern Lebanon is a part of the land Israel is claiming in the greater Israel project.
It is precisely why they are bombing southern Lebanon, to claim this land as Israel’s.

Lebanon has been a favorite location to launch on Israel for a long time.
Not under Israeli control.
Shares a border with Israel.
Lebanese government is either complicit or too weak to do anything about it.
Lebanon has allowed militant groups to operate there forever.

To their credit they're finally trying to fix this. It's too bad that it had to come to this in order to get them there. Innocent people are caught up in the mess now.

All I’m going to say is this.
Try to Remember this conversation 10 years from now when Israel has broadened its borders from the Nile River in Egypt to the Euphrates River in Iraq.

Maybe someone will write a thread about it and we will talk about it. This particular thread asked what was going on in Lebanon.

The Israelis are systematically taking advantage of all of these middle east campaigns to expand their borders.
But if you point that out you get branded an anti semite. When reality isn't allowed to be discussed it's never for good reasons.
