Most parents I know are in favour of this.
The internet is not the same as when I grew up in the early 00s, 24/7 hour access alongside cyber bullying and AI risks are genuine concerns for alot of peoples. Most people over 40 will bitch and moan about kids constantly being on their phone etc. but decide this is a bad thing just to be anti establishment.

It’s a ban for kids under 16 only and it’s a pretty broad trend internationally.
It’ll come here as an issue soon as well.
I feel like people in this thread are mixing it in with the other domestic issues the UK has and it’s really not about any of that. Just trying to shield kids as much as possible from the exact predatory brainrot that this entire board agrees is corrupting the younger generations.
