He needs to listen to his constituents and act in their interests and putting RFK Jr. in charge of US vaccine policy is not acting in their interests.

Coming from a guy that equates getting a vaccine shot with wearing a seatbelt, this could not possibly mean less.

He is a life long dim. It is his job to stand in the way of anything Trump wants.

He might be, but he does believe in the public health benefits of hepatitis vaccination. He was talking to us about that in NOLA 10 years before he had a political career.

Bro, I don't give a frick what he believes in. We didn't elect him to believe in fricking shite. We sent him to Washington to vote our interests. That's what pisses me off the most about it. Poll your constituents and vote how they want you to vote.

Trump was elected with an obvious mandate. And he was elected with every voter being aware of RFK's stances as well as his candidacy for HHS.

It's bullshite man.

RFK Jr is a socialist prog POS who is so kooky he’s practically retarded.

Cassidy is also a POS, but not because of this

The medical establishment lost all credibility with the COVID fiasco and the woke stuff. Most private practice MDS are conservative and don’t have time to be involved in politics. Obviously many vaccines are safe and have helped millions of people Rand Paul’s position is very logical. RFK isn’t perfect but he is a good choice to shake up HHS and restore its credibility

Honestly it's kind of a no-win. To me, there's nothing worse than a Republican politician who flaps around from position to position. I want the state to stay red but I'd also like to know the players I'm playing against.

One of the biggest definable problems with the "Republican Majority" in the Senate is the Susan Collins/Lisa Murkowski faction. Senators like this are the last bastions of hope in the GOPe. Cassidy being in that camp is bad, bad news. If losing one senate seat to the Dems for a term is the cost of ripping off the band-aid, so be it. We can regroup and get it back afterwards with someone who you know you can count on. And it's crystal clear at this point that you cannot count on Bill Cassidy.
