The correct number is 0.
Considering total gwot was just under 7000 in 2 wars over 20 years which could be cut by 2/3 if they didnt keep thw leash tight. Realistically we are looking at losing 3-4k in a 10-20 year conflict.
If we get hit by Iran I'm ok with wiping them out.
That said only if they cut us loose and keep the political bullsgit out of it.
Which they won't.
IRAN KILLED a lot of my friends in theater. Would love to return the favor.
