You are certainly right about there being more than two camps. But you lack the courage to correctly identify the major ones. Because that's just it. Identity.

You have, in the modern Democratic Party:

1) The Black Camp

2) The Hispanic Camp

3) The Asian Camp

4) White sky screamers/SJW's/socialists/communists.

5) White... Corporatists? These are the ones that are exactly like Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan (heck they even dress alike). Only difference is they like to talk about Abortion, and LGBT stuff. Not that Ryan and Romney wouldn't love to, but the current American system means you can't talk about thing in the way that every right-thinking person should (*Cough).

Currently, at the end of the day, the Democratic Party is run by 5) (just like the Republican Party was pre-Trump).

There used to be a Union Camp. But 5) hammered them, 4) didn't care because they were too old and white, so most of them wound up to MAGA.

Also used to be a Jewish Camp. More of them than you would think crossed over with the Union guys, but most are still split between 4) and 5).

The Asian camap would split in a heartbeat (and will if their interests are threatened). Heck they are only with the Democrats as it is, due to heavy Asian populations on the West Coast, and the perception that toeing the SJW line is the way to being elite.

Heck their kids practice hundreds of hours to get good on musical instruments they have no real interest in - solely to enhance their prospects to gain access to what they really are interested in: Elite College Admission.
