Not guilty since it took a 'little minute' for him to stop moving.

Black power. At least there’s one less thing to worry about in Memphis

Can't blame the store manager. This clown calls some guy to come over and beat his arse for her.

So a female employee wanted to leave, the manager refused and they argued over it. She called a friend to pick her up anyway. Manager and friend get into an argument, friend takes a swing at the manager and gets a bullet in return.

The manager should have just let her leave with her friend, telling her to not come back because she's fired. When ol' boy swung on him though (especially since the manager already had his weapon out), he engaged in legit FAFO.

My verdict: Manager is not guilty by reason of self-defense, but he loses his job because the store has a "no weapons" policy.

Not clear on the details of "refusing to let her leave" but that could very well be kidnapping.

Did this guy's father never explain that swinging on a man with a gun in his hand is a bad idea?

She wanted to knock off early and he told her "no". If he tried to keep her physically in the building, then yeah that's going to be kidnapping.

If she was just bitching and her friend showed up and got the fight started by knighting for her, then no.

But, of course, the news doesn't give enough detail.

Probably going to catch a manslaughter charge. Yeah the guy swung at him but he wa walking towards him with the gun in his hand. What interactions occurred beforehand will be crucial but I don’t think he gets off here

Was it a single gunshot, double or triple. This kind of story just leaves you frosty inside.
