The people running this aren’t stupid. The idea is to foment anger and keep the BLM movement fragmented and a wedge issue. At the end nothing but loud noises will occur and will disillusion the true believers to create even more anger on the next round.
Why unify people when you can easily manufacture headlines and rile up the base a little and shift the Overton window a bit more to the left and increase the tolerance to violence with younger liberals?
