I mean, it’s likely a lie considering he continued to sit on TD and post every 45 seconds at that point and the months following.
The guy was absolutely glued to social media every waking hour of his life.

He has TDS. There are two flavors. There is TDS from a leftist which is just their normal discourse with any conservative figure. There is TDS from a conservative who doesn't like Trump personally but knows deep down they agree with 95% of what he is doing. When he is effective it eats them alive.
I've always thought Roger was a good poster. This applies to a few other people who I've always thought had inciteful, interesting posts but who have been overcome with TDS.

This is the 2nd OP showing concern for Roger. I think we all hope and pray Roger is well, both mentally and health wise. I'm touched to see the PT forum is showing empathy and compassion for those being consumed with TDS and Trump 2.0 winning.

The alternative is that his wife was being cared for professionally and that this board was a much needed distraction. I’d be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on that. Roger was never the kind of poster to lie about something as an excuse.
My concern about him was the drinking. I’m pretty sure he has a bad alcohol problem.

Either way what a shitty husband if his “much needed distraction” was arguing with strangers on social media for 16 hours a day straight.
