I’m in a constant state of amazement that people think a guy who made billions with so much experience in contracts, was a president, defeated bogus lawsuits, survived at least 3 assainations and engineered a comeback in the face of impossible odds, doesn’t have a big picture view of this scenario

You have to actually do the shite , not just talk about it, and wish it into being. This is real life, not a reality TV show. He is scared shitless of the markets after his sandwich board tariff announcement frick up, and the above ground oil reserves teetering on the brink of collapse. He's fricked and the Iranians know it. He is being toyed with like a mouse by a cat. My first "real job" mgr told me once that Im only told what is needed to do my job and able to handle, so stop always trying to know it all. Just like he'll always know more than me, but his mgr only tells him what he needs to know to do his job and can handle. He takes that and passes down what I need to be and his other reports.
Ie...higher ups always know more than you, are playing a different game, but if they talk...listen but learn to read between the lines.
