They use the term Sunny day flooding because there is flood water without a storm. They’re building a sea wall, raising the roads, and improving the drainage.
Stuff that every other coastal city is also being forced to do? Or is it only them for some reason?

He can only go to so many county council meetings. He just reports back on the ones he goes to, God bless him

He could help save the planet if he would stay home and not burn those excess fossil fuels to attend those meetings.

Subsidence is an issue near any coastline. Couple that with the weight of the construction and ground water removal, and flooding can then become more pronounced.
A prime example is Venice, Italy.
It is slowly sinking.
Rising sea levels are only a small part of the equation (despite what Greta and the band of morons scream).

The county mayor who is a Republican and a former state legislator lists combating sea level rise as her second most important initiative.
Regardless, when you see Holly, perhaps you could suggest an illuminating test during the next flood?
She can check the flood water for salinity.
I know it's a novel suggestion, and the science might be hard for her to follow, but when she finds the water is not salty, perhaps after heavy pondering and calculation, she can determine whether or not sea level rise is causing the floods.

Media quoting the hottest place in the desert as if it’s typical temp across the country is typical for them. No better than click-bait PT Barnum wanna be motherfrickers.
While it’s 78 on the coast.

So far it hasn’t gone up equivalently in the summer, so I’m sitting pretty year round, but something is happening
Limited global warming.
It has been happening since the last ice age. It is a tad more pronounced now, but not much at all.
There is but one set of smears that I trusted. They have been using the EXACT same means of data capture for the last 40 years.
They said there was evidence of slight global warming, but not nearly what the climate morons were screaming. What happened afterward? They were censored by social media platforms (and even demonetized).
Remember, they actually said global warming is happening.
The left, in any manifestation, is insane.
