But with Trump, it was okay that he hung out with the Clintons, Epstein, etc.

DeSantis is a dumbass and it’s showing. Trump announced. He either wants to play or not. Btw. He’s the one who is opening up damage to himself.

That was the dream. But Trump can't help himself from attacking his perceived rivals. He went from Lyin' Ted to Lion Ted, eventually. At some point, there's no coming back and making nice with someone who dishes out vitriol on the level Trump dishes it. Ted couldn't even muster the words to support Trump at the convention, so pissed was he from the attacks. It's human nature. Anyone who turns on a dime and shakes off those types of insults is showing the world they're not sincere in their beliefs and / or they're a massive beta. Ted had too much pride to fight hard and then flip on command to support Trump. Desantis will be no different if Trump (and his followers) attack too hard. It's not about having a thin skin.

I'm not a supporter of either Trump or Desantis, but it is pretty damn obvious that the Republican Party is Trump's until he announces that he doesn't want it anymore. That's just the fact.

If Desantis doesn’t I run 2024 then he will get a lot of the American first support in 2028. If he runs in 2024 then his career is going to hit a wall.

I still cannot wrap my mind around how the election results are so drastically different now in Broward and Dade Counties.
If the cheating was so bad and DeSantis fixed it, that means the cheating in AZ and PA is off the charts and the "bad candidate" argument holds not water. Which means Trump won BY A LOT.

Being a dumbass is what Trump did in Georgia in 2020 that lost the GOP two senate seats. Fricking incompetence.
